I call him THE KING

Well this was a long lasting dream of mine. I have wanted to make an ape piece for some time now, but kept delaying it... I guess i was a little bit scared. I knew he will had to have a really strong character, and a fierce look, almost human, masculine, even sexy. So I've made a sketch, which was lying in my workbench drawer for 3.5 months (did I mentioned I was scared?!). 

Finally I set down and began carving. And what do you know? not so scary after all... He's face just keep popping to my eyes as a vision, the strong look I've wanted just started to become real. 

If it wasn't for the crazy holiday season I've would have finished it in 10 days...
